Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Crane Technician based in Houston, Texas. Occasionally some overnight travel may be required. Typically Crane Technicians are home every night and most weekends. The Crane Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cranes and related heavy equipment. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing field service and scheduled maintenance, and ensuring that lifting equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role requires hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Lifting Equipment and Heavy Equipment
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical and hydraulic system failure
- Proficiency in Field Service operations and Equipment Maintenance
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices for heavy machinery
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in various environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Experience with crane repair and operation required
- Technical certification or vocational training in mechanics or related fields is a plus
