Position Summary
HitchCo, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position involves operating a press brake to bend and form metal parts according to specifications. Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate a press brake to bend and form metal components according to specifications.
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and measurements.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Set up machines and adjust settings as needed, with training provided when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.
- Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous press brake or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read measurements and use basic measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn machine operation and safety procedures.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
