Project Manager (Roofing & Solar)
Badgerland Exteriors & Solar | Madison, WI
Badgerland Exteriors & Solar is hiring a Project Manager to support our roofing and solar installations. This is a hands-on role focused on job site setup, coordination, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish.
You’ll work closely with crews, sales reps, and leadership to maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure our standards are met on every project.
What You’ll Do
- Set up job sites daily using equipment like The Catch-All, Equipter, tarps, and plywood
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments throughout the project
- Communicate progress and updates with crews, sales reps, management, and homeowners
- Answer homeowner questions while keeping the project moving efficiently
- Oversee end-of-day cleanup, walkthroughs, and punch list completion
- Support crews in meeting installation requirements and code standards
- Assist with material runs and project needs as they come up
- Work with the Production Manager to keep materials, timing, and job flow on track
- Participate in training to diagnose and complete roof repairs when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on environment
- Ability to lead crews and keep projects moving without constant direction
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and job site presentation
- Able to adapt to changing conditions and problem-solve calmly
- Roofing, construction, or exterior experience is helpful, but not required
Schedule
- Busy season (March–November): longer days, steady workload
- Off-season (December–February): more flexible schedule
Pay & Benefits
- $25/hour base pay
- Commission opportunities for repair work
- Paid holidays 2 weeks PTO
