Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our warehouse operations.
Duties
- Manage the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accurately logged and tracked using an ERP system
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
- Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment tasks to meet customer demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing
- Experience with packaging, order fulfillment, and stocking procedures
- Ability to operate various equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
