Badger State Western is seeking a Dispatch Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of our operations, responsible for the successful dispatching and planning of LTL shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage LTL shipment dispatching in a fast-paced environment.
· Utilize Microsoft Office and McLeod Software for daily operations.
· Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with drivers and teammates.
· Organize and multitask efficiently while demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making.
· Work collaboratively with the dispatch team and Dispatch Lead to address challenges and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience in an LTL or TL environment.
· Knowledge of Hours-of-Service regulations, truck/trailer capacity, and refrigerated freight requirements.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Valid driver’s license required.
