Badger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Roll Clamp Operator to join our client’s growing second shift team. As a Roll Clamp Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of paper rolls and pallets within the facility. This includes loading and unloading materials, managing inventory through reporting and auditing, and collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth production and shipping operations.
Primary Duties:
- Safely operate a roll clamp truck to move, load, and unload paper rolls and pallets within the warehouse and production areas
- Transport materials to and from semi-trailers storage locations, and production lines
- Report and audit incoming and outgoing materials to maintain accurate inventory records which may involve scanning, data entry, and verification of quantities and product codes
- Collaborate with Machine Operators to state materials for production, ensuring a continuous supply and minimizing downtime
- Stage finished materials for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation which may include wrapping, banding, or other packaging tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of material movement, including quantities, locations, and any discrepancies
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Shift: Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of roll clamp experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
