Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced small Gas Plant Operator to operate and maintain a natural gas processing facility in the Breckenridge, Tex area. This role is hands-on and field-focused ideal for a reliable operator with strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of gas processing equipment. The operator will be responsible for safe daily operation monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of gas plant systems to ensure continuous and compliant operation
Duties
- Operate and monitor gas processing equipment including:
- Separators
- Dehydration units compressors
- Heaters and Coolers
- Perform daily rounds, readings, and operational checks
- Adjust plant parameters to maintain optimal performance
- Identify and troubleshoot operational or mechanical issues
- Coordinate with maintenance and management as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company HSE policies and procedures
- Respond to call-outs and alarm conditions as required
QUALIFICATIONS
1 plus years experience operating a gas plant or similar oil and gas production facility
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with compressors, dehydration units, and measurement systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with acceptable MVR
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
Local to Breckenridge / Stephens County area
Prior experience with small to mid-size gas plants
Mechanical, compressor, or emissions experience
TWIC OR H2S certification
