Christmas Light Installer – Seasonal
Badger Outdoor Lighting is hiring motivated Christmas Light Installers to join our team for the upcoming holiday season. This is a fast-paced, outdoor position installing professional Christmas lighting on residential and commercial properties throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding areas.
Compensation: Base Pay Performance Pay
This position includes a guaranteed base hourly rate with additional performance-based pay opportunities. Team members who work efficiently, maintain high-quality installation standards, and contribute to strong crew performance have the opportunity to earn more.
Responsibilities
- Professionally install Christmas lights on homes, businesses, trees, landscaping, and other structures
- Work safely and efficiently from extension ladders and other access equipment
- Install C9 roofline lighting, mini lights, wreaths, garland, and other holiday décor
- Follow installation plans and crew leader instructions
- Troubleshoot and make basic repairs to lighting displays
- Maintain a clean, professional job site
- Properly handle, organize, and care for company equipment and customer materials
- Assist with service calls, maintenance, and post-season takedowns
- Work efficiently as part of a crew while maintaining Badger Outdoor Lighting's quality standards
Requirements
- MUST be comfortable, confident, and capable working on ladders
- Must be comfortable working at heights and getting on roofs when required
- Must be physically capable of climbing ladders repeatedly throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to work
- Dependable and punctual — our crews operate on a schedule
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
- Willingness to work longer days during peak holiday season when needed
- Must take safety seriously
Previous Christmas light installation, roofing, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, construction, landscaping, or other ladder-intensive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
This is NOT a good fit for someone who is uncomfortable with heights or inexperienced/confident on ladders. Ladder work is a major part of this position.
Pay
Base hourly pay performance-based pay
In addition to base pay, installers have the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on productivity, quality, efficiency, and overall crew performance.
