We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Crack Sealing Technician to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning cracks thoroughly using hand tools, power tools, or pressure washers to ensure proper adhesion of sealant materials.
- Mix and apply crack sealant compounds accurately according to project specifications, utilizing appropriate caulking guns and fabrication equipment.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate crack sealing processes on various surfaces.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to identify areas.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when handling chemicals or operating machinery.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction site environments with exposure to concrete finishing, or asphalt repair is preferre.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fixture installation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and the ability to identify potential hazards on-site.
