We are seeking a Traffic Engineering Technician to support meaningful transportation projects that improve safety, mobility, and roadway efficiency. In this role, you’ll combine fieldwork, data analysis, and design support to help bring traffic studies and infrastructure improvements to life.

Essential Job Functions:

• Install, monitor, and remove traffic data collection equipment in the field.
• Process traffic data and prepare counts, summaries, and reports.
• Create existing‑conditions traffic schematics using DOT data and graphics software.
• Assist with building base and proposed traffic models using industry software.
• Compile and organize crash data for safety analyses.
• Populate and verify Excel‑based traffic analysis spreadsheets.
• Finalize conceptual traffic graphics for reports, studies, and public materials.

Education/Experience:                       

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with roadway signs, markings, or traffic signals preferred.
• Valid Driver's License in state of residence
