What are the responsibilities and job description for the OFFICE LPN or CMA position at Bacon County Hospital?
The primary purpose is to assist in all activities assigned by the Physician/Nurse Practitioner and Office Manager.
Duties: Performs nursing and administrative duties, such as creating and maintaining patient files, assists the physician as part of the clinical care team. Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointments. preps patients for exams, maintains the exam rooms, maintains sample medication records, administers meds as directed by physician or Nurse Practitioner, gives injections and draws blood, as well as assists with scheduling tests and such. As well as any other job duties.
Must have graduated from an accredited school as a LPN or CMA. Must have a current license and BLS is required. Experience is is not required but not necessary.
This is a full time position, Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm , and Friday 8am to 2pm in our Waycross office.
