Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Refrigeration Mechanic with Bacon Air HVACR Inc., located in Alexandria, VA. The position involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the efficient functioning of refrigeration equipment, and working collaboratively with a skilled team. While the role requires on-site work in Alexandria, VA, some work from home is acceptable for administrative or planning tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasks for refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Electricity, with experience diagnosing and resolving system issues
- Understanding of HVAC systems and their operation
- Relevant technical certifications and/or vocational training in HVACR or a related field
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, combining on-site engagement with occasional remote work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Experience in commercial or critical facility environments is a plus
- Commitment to safety standards and compliance with industry regulations
