We are actively recruiting two new Inside Sales Specialists who are friendly, engaging, and organized to grow our online sales department. This is a new office-based role for a growing national company.

Backyard Products’ luxury Big Timber brand, based in Waxahachie, Texas, designs and sells high-end pergolas and pavilions for customers who want to add a "wow factor" to their outdoor living space. As a trusted service provider of Costco, we create the ultimate in outdoor living spaces for discerning customers who only want the best of the best.

Backyard Products’ Inside Sales Specialist make our customers’ outdoor living dreams a reality by providing professional virtual consultations, leading customers from their initial questions to the final sale through an engaging conversational sales approach.

The primary Inside Sales Specialist role consists of, but is not limited to:

  • Answering live chat questions with interested customers.
  • Conversing over the phone with customers who have requested a consultation and walking them through the project details via multiple platforms.
  • Closing remote sales in a defined geography.
  • Tracking daily and weekly sales metrics in a CRM.
  • Interacting remotely with an average of 75 - 100 customers per day.
  • Networking with Backyard Products’ national sales and installation teams.

Must Be Able To

  • Provide clients with an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Speak knowledgeably about a wide range of products, from DIY and installed sheds to custom pergolas and pavilions (training will be provided).
  • Maintain an engaging, friendly demeanor over the phone and/or video consultations with interested customers from all over the USA.
  • Track leads and sales metrics using an intuitive CRM platform.
  • Work closely with managers and coworkers in a professional office setting.
  • Grow sales volume in assigned geography for multiple Backyard Products brands.
  • Commute to the Waxahachie office five days per week.

Job Type: Full-time, hourly

Location: The Big Timber Main Office in Waxahachie, TX

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday (both options are currently available)

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
  • Commission: 1% on all invoiced sales
  • These sales have a short turnaround time, ensuring that our sales consultants receive a steady monthly commission in addition to their competitive hourly wage.
