Backwoods Services is looking for a dependable, experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our growing team!
We’re a Northwoods based excavation company specializing in gravel driveways, site preparation, grading, land clearing, and snow removal services. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to operate a truck safely and efficiently, and wants to be part of a hardworking team.
The position is seasonal (May-November) with the option for snow plowing in the winter.
What You'll Do:
- Operate your dump truck safely and efficiently
- Haul gravel, sand, rock, dirt, and other materials
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep truck clean and properly maintained
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Assist the crew with general jobsite tasks when trucking work is slow
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Up to date fed med card
- Clean driving record
- Previous dump truck experience preferred
- Understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Reliable and punctual
- Easy going and able to mold with the days requirements
- Able to work independently and stay productive
- Willingness to jump in and help the team when needed
- Positive attitude and pride in your work
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
