At Backus Hospital, every moment matters. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various locations, including ambulatory or acute settings. You will position patients, operate diagnostic x-ray equipment, and provide patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed
  • Operate diagnostic x-ray equipment
  • Position patients for imaging exams
  • Provide patient care during imaging exams

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (obtained within 120 days of graduation for new graduates)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Salary : $53,000 - $83,000
