Backstage Health delivers school-based health and special education services both in person and via telehealth throughout California. We partner with districts to provide IEP/504 support, telehealth screenings, and access to licensed providers, ensuring every student receives the services they need — regardless of staffing shortages or school resources.
We’re seeking a dependable, organized, and people-centered Office Operations Manager to join our growing team at our new Chula Vista Operations Office.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and helping others succeed. You’ll serve as a key link between schools, families, and providers — ensuring smooth operations and timely coordination of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, maintaining a professional and efficient environment
- Coordinate scheduling for school-based health services and provider assignments
- Assist with documentation, forms, and report preparation for meetings and audits
- Support payroll and HR functions, including scheduling and hosting interviews (Zoom and in person)
- Help organize virtual orientations, school-facing webinars, and staff training events
- Participate in team check-ins and collaborative projects
- Maintain Google Drive systems, spreadsheets, and communication dashboards
- Provide general administrative support, including supplies and records management
Qualifications
- Experience in education, student services, or administrative operations (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting virtually and managing Zoom sessions
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 1 PM
- Location: On-site in Chula Vista, CA
- Type: Part-Time (~25 hours/week)
- Compensation: $18 – $20 per hour (DOE)
