Backpocket Pin & Pixel/Driftless are looking for a friendly, fast-on-your-feet server to join our team! You'll be pouring great beer, serving up good food, and keeping the vibe going in a community-focused taproom or pizza restaurant.

In addition to the hourly rate, this position has full access to the tip pool based on the number of hours worked.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers as they arrive.
- Check ID’s to ensure legal drinking age.
- Pour beers and create mixed drinks
- Be knowledgeable about Backpocket / Driftless products (beer, merchandise and food).
- Complete Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training
- Assess customers for signs of intoxication and respond accordingly
- Make beer recommendations to customers
- Keep bar glassware clean.
- Maintain a neat and organized bar.
- Clear tables
- Report broken arcade machines to Lead
- Take out trash
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- Attend monthly staff meetings
- Greet customers when they pick up their food
- Prepare food to order and responds to additional requests by preparing orders to their specifications
- Direct customers to utensils, buzzer drop off
- Complete assigned prep tasks
- Keep kitchen area clean
- Complete Servsafe Food Handling certification within first month of employment
- Ensures compliance with all health codes and requirements
- Maintains stocking (re-stocking) and organization of work area daily
- Completes prep tasks as needed in accordance with recipe, procedure, quality and speed standards
- Contributes to positive food costs by utilizing established best practices
- Maintains food storage, receiving, stocking and rotation.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour
