About the Role
BackOps is seeking a Sales Account Executive with 3–5 years of experience selling SaaS or automation technology into enterprise environments. Candidates should have a strong track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals. Experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and partner channels.
• Conduct structured discovery to identify operational pain points and automation opportunities.
• Deliver tailored demos showcasing BackOps’ AI automation capabilities.
• Coordinate internal resources (solutions engineering, product, and leadership) to drive deals forward.
• Develop business cases, ROI models, and clear success criteria for pilots and expansions.
• Navigate multi-stakeholder environments across operations, IT, finance, and customer service.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
• Represent BackOps at relevant industry events and customer sessions.
• Provide structured feedback to product and leadership based on customer insights.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience.
• Proven success managing complex sales cycles with mid-six to seven-figure deal sizes.
• Familiarity with enterprise operational workflows; supply chain or logistics experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience selling AI, automation, or workflow platforms preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and executive-level presentation skills.
• High attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and process discipline.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
