Who You Are:

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented Direct Sales Representative to join our inside direct sales team at BackdCapital. In this role, you’ll execute the full sales cycle—from prospecting through funded deal—working directly with small and medium-sized business owners who need fast, flexible capital. You’re someone who thrives in a high-activity environment, builds genuine rapport quickly, and knows how to guide a prospect from curiosity to commitment. You’re comfortable working toward clear KPIs and targets, and you’re energized by the opportunity to grow within a company that’s scaling fast. What You Will Do:

  • Execute the full sales cycle from initial outreach through funded deal close
  • Prospect and engage SMB and middle market business owners via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
  • Conduct consultative discovery calls to understand business needs and match clients to the right capital solutions.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of active opportunities, maintaining accurate records in the CRM.
  • Work toward daily and monthly activity targets and KPIs as set by the team.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal execution and proper lead routing
  • Develop deep product knowledge to effectively position BackdCapital’s offerings against traditional lenders and competitors
  • Track and report daily activity metrics including calls, emails, pipeline movement, and closed deals
  • Base Salary Commission

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 1–3 years of B2B or inside sales experience with a demonstrated track record of closing
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and a consultative, relationship-first selling approach
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently toward KPIs
  • Ability to quickly learn and clearly articulate financial products to business owners
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar platforms preferred
  • Background in fintech, financial services, alternative lending, or B2B sales a plus
  • Ambitious and driven personality with a hunger for success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
