Duties
- Deliver high-quality massage therapy sessions using techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients’ specific needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy, and pain management requirements
- Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress, treatment notes, and relevant medical terminology
- Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification standards
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic flow
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes
Experience
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction
- Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management
- Prior work in med spa or occupational health settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies
- Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in medical or therapeutic fields are a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about their health needs
