Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Portland, ME, for a Rehab Tech at Back in Motion Physical Therapy, LLC®. The Rehab Tech will assist licensed physical therapists with patient care, including preparing treatment areas, guiding patients through prescribed exercises, and ensuring proper use of equipment. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized clinic space, managing supplies, and supporting patient communication to ensure a positive experience. Administrative support tasks, such as scheduling and documentation, may also be part of daily responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy practices
- Strong Patient Care and Communication skills to support and engage with patients effectively
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment and provide assistance under the guidance of licensed physical therapists
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage clinic operations efficiently
- Experience or education in healthcare, rehabilitation, or related fields preferred
- Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare certifications are a plus
