Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Observe and monitor patient responses during treatment sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Develop and implement individualized care plans targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and overall musculoskeletal health
- Perform manual therapies such as spinal adjustments, mobilizations, and trigger point therapy
- Manage patients with occupational health concerns and provide ergonomic advice when appropriate
- Utilize medical imaging results and physiology knowledge to inform diagnoses and treatment strategies
- Educate patients on pain management techniques, exercise routines, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and follow-up plans in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Experience
- Proven experience in primary care chiropractic practice with a focus on pain management and patient care
- Strong background in patient observation, assessment, and physical examinations
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques
- Skilled in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and occupational health interventions
- Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Prior experience in managing diverse cases involving musculoskeletal issues is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
