Job description
This position will be mainly in the kitchen, as breakfast/lunch staff
Most hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 7am-3pm, with occasional catering events/food truck or private events at Back Alley.
In the kitchen we expect positive atmosphere, with working as a team to be an important factor. Attention to details and organization are a plus for this position!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and culinary principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
