What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Connection Representative position at Back Against The Bars, LLC?
We are seeking friendly, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our Community Connection Program. This flexible, remote opportunity allows participants to earn supplemental income by engaging in positive phone conversations with incarcerated individuals seeking meaningful connections with people on the outside.
This is an independent contractor position that allows you to create your own schedule and participate as much or as little as you’d like.
Responsibilities
- Participate in introductory phone conversations with program participants
- Maintain respectful and professional communication
- Provide positive conversation, encouragement, and companionship
- Follow all BATB program guidelines and policies
- Communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences
Compensation
- $15 for each completed 15-minute introductory call
- Flexible participation schedule
- Monthly performance bonuses available
- Work remotely from anywhere with phone service
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Reliable phone access
- Valid email address
- Professional, respectful, and dependable
- Comfortable speaking with people from diverse backgrounds
