We are growing! This exciting growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Project Manager – Food & Beverage to join our dynamic team.
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Management with a background in construction management, specifically within the food & beverage or restaurant industry. The Assistant Project Manager will lead multiple construction projects from concept through delivery, with a strong focus on execution, structure, and accountability. They will oversee all phases of store build-outs, from pre-construction planning and site evaluation to permitting, execution, and final turnover. This ideal candidate brings 2 years Project Management experience in F&B, thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage complexity across multiple sites, and knows how to maintain full visibility and control using Asana.
**This role works out of our West LA/Brentwood, CA office 2-3 days/week and 2-3 days in the field depending on business needs**
Responsibilities
- Lead the full construction lifecycle: site readiness, design, permitting, construction, and turnover Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict timeline control
- Own all project tracking in Asana — ensuring real-time accuracy and visibility
- Track budgets, change orders, and project performance
- Build and manage templates, timelines, dependencies, and dashboards
- Identify risks early and drive solutions proactively
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Lead weekly project updates and executive reporting
- Build and standardize processes across all new developments
Requirements
- 4 years Construction Project Management in multi-unit food & beverage or retail
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of construction, permitting, and vendor coordination
- Experience with Asana or similar tools (must be comfortable managing projects digitally) Experience building project management systems • Experience conducting site visits and construction management
- Store opening or retail expansion experience
- Availability to travel
