Duties
- Lead and supervise all staff, including training, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, POS system management, and customer service excellence
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage
- Coordinate purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal stock levels through effective inventory management
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to boost store performance
- Conduct employee orientation sessions, training & development programs, and managerial communication to enhance team skills
- Monitor operational metrics such as sales figures, budgeting, payroll processing, and store expenses to ensure financial health
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing retail sales operations
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management tools, and retail math for accurate financial transactions and stock control
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures, cash handling protocols, bookkeeping practices, and payroll processing
- Ability to lead shift management activities effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and operational procedures
