Bachner Electro USA is looking for a Structured Cabling Superintendent to join our growing team! Since 1920, we have been at the forefront of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering industry, providing top-notch service to our clients. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience and ability to consecutively manage multiple projects including deadlines and schedules.
- Experience in managing others and extremely self-motivated.
- Guide installation process and ensure standards are met for quality and safety.
- Ability to represent the company to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
- Ability to interface and communicate with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Interact with the customer or general contractor to ensure work is performed as expected.
- Communicate schedule ability, material needs, or any job-related issues with the Project Management team.
- Complete assigned tasks on time.
- Complies with all company safety policies.
- Maintain customer/contractor satisfaction for continual company growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial or industrial fiber installation.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Experience with Fluke tester.
- Must adhere to OSHA Safety Standards
- Must be available to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules with some overtime and overnight travel.
- Occasional weekend and holidays required (pay premiums apply)
- Frequently required to walk, sit, and use hands to pull cables and wires, use power tools, work in awkward positions, and climb ladders.
- Must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 75lbs.
- Must possess basic hand tools (Specialty tools provided)
- Must successfully pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and a drug screen.
