- Plan and manage construction projects.
- Make sure the projects are completed on time, meet the needs of the clients, and stay within budgets.
- Create timelines and determine costs and resources needed.
- Generate a detailed plan and schedule for each stage of the project.
- Report the project progress to senior managers and the client.
- Manage risks and manage to avoid delays.
- Give direction to your supervisors, crews, delegating, and assigning tasks to team as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the Customer's construction standards, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate closeout documents are distributed in a timely manner and are in accordance with corporate and customer standards.
- Complete performance management functions, disciplinary actions, performance reviews and ongoing development of team
- Assist in customer invoicing and help ensure invoices are submitted accurately and timely.
- Be your teams go-to person and act as a resource.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with utilities, clients, permitting agencies as needed.
- Adhere to company safety standards and all federal, state, and local laws.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of direct experience working for a general contractor or a data infrastructure company as a Project Manager or Superintendent
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or comparable preferred
- Experience with low voltage, data infrastructure and/or structured cabling required.
- Experience with bidding, project management, and field supervision aspects of construction
- Willingness to travel across the continental United States to oversee multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of all trades in ground up and renovation projects
- Experience managing project budgets, financial projections, and invoicing.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating material and equipment delivery.
- Experience with subcontractor buyout, writing scopes, scope reviews, and project coordination.
- Experience with bidding public projects
- Experience in running successful foremen meetings and running an efficient site workforce.
- Must collaborate with the project owner, design, and project team.
- OSHA 30, ANSI, TIA, EIA, and BICSI cabling, and NEC standards preferred.
- Company Paid OSHA 30 classes
- Company Paid TWIC (Port Workers Only) and Passports (International Workers)
- Company Paid MEWP/Fall Prevention Certifications
