Lead Stock – Garden
Part-time, 20-30 hours/week
Join our team as a Lead Stock Associate - Garden, where you’ll play a key role in delivering efficient, prompt, and courteous service to customers while supporting a strong, team-focused culture. In this role, you will oversee and facilitate all stock-related aspects of retail operations, ensuring smooth product flow and organization. You’ll also assist with checkout and sales across both Floral and Garden Center areas, helping create a seamless and welcoming shopping experience for every customer.
Job Duties:
- Provide work direction and lead the outdoor stock team
- Process all incoming and outgoing store shipments which includes unloading, receiving, unpacking, pricing, quality verification and stocking
- Report any variances in inventory
- Help solve discrepancies
- Organize and clean warehouse and loading dock areas
- Provide work direction and follow-up to stock team under direction of stock supervisor
- Other Duties as assigned
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Experience receiving product and using an RF gun
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic garden product knowledge
- Previous retail or garden center experience
- Previous forklift, electric pallet jack and Bobcat operation experience
- POS or computer experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexible work schedule/Retail store hours (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
- Evening Availability Needed
Compensation: $16.84 / hour
