What you'll do...
- PLC Program design/development
- HMI design/development
- Industrial Networks and Communication Protocols
- Instrumentation (sensor selection/application, limits, scaling, calibration techniques, display/decoding equipment, etc.
- AutoCAD – schematic design of control and motor wiring, power distribution, panel layouts
- AC and DC rotating machines
- Loop control and tuning techniques
- Compliance with BCI internal procedures for design, re-use and overall quality program
- Provide Guidance for sales and estimating as needed
- Management of projects of moderate scope or importance
- Responsible for project schedule, budget, deliverables, and quality
- Coordinate with department managers to assemble project teams
- Complete timesheets daily, submit weekly
- Complete Field Service Reports for field work
- Other duties as assigned by management
What you'll need to succeed...
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE or BSME); E.I.T./F.E. or P.E. certification is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
- 2–4 years of controls engineering experience
- Proven ability to manage projects of moderate scope and complexity
- Self-starter with strong initiative
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to clearly articulate concepts and technical information
