Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as ice, garnishes, and beverages as needed.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for transactions.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Support food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns when necessary.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A clean and organized approach to work, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
