RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
- Deliver excellence across all tours and guest experiences within the Brand Home, including retail interactions.
- Support a consistent, high‑quality guest journey aligned with Brand Home standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members to support daily operations.
- Present a polished, poised, and professional appearance at all times while engaging with guests.
- Provide warm, attentive, and elevated hospitality that reflects excellent customer service standards.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Brand expectations, storytelling, and spirits to support guest engagement
- Utilize point‑of‑sale systems accurately and assist with troubleshooting basics for POS issues as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts of all merchandise including receiving and inspection of items while maintaining attractive, organized, and well-stocked displays.
- Maintain effective communication with the Brand Home Supervisor regarding guest experience and operational needs.
- Ability to create and adjust a ROS in a timely manner as necessary for a smooth operation of the Brand Home.
- Candidate MUST be S.T.A.R. certified or willing to become certified. Candidate MUST be certified or willing to become a certified Bourbon Steward through Stave and Thief.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent time management skills are a must for conducting and executing day-to-day operations both customer facing and internally.
- Retail experience including the ability to maximize profits through suggestive selling, ensuring merchandise shelves are well stocked, and that all sales transactions are transacted through the cash register system. Ability to track accurate inventory, operate a touch screen tablet PC, and learn point of sale (POS) system software.
- Food and beverage, event, and/or tour guide experience is required. Prior knowledge of distilled spirits is preferred.
- Outgoing and engaging personality who is articulate and charismatic. Creative thinker who is capable of managing frequent change.
- Ability to work as a team member or independently.
- Ability to provide consistent tour experiences in line with the tour talking points.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer experience in the Brand Home and on tours.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot both front end and back end of POS system.
- Ability to manage Brand Home inventory to support team goals.
- Ability to adhere to safety requirements both with Angel’s Envy peers as well as customers.
- Ability to work alongside Brand Home supervisor to accomplish daily tasks of the Brand Home.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- Proficient with public speaking, diction, and English grammar
- Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High school degree; Associate or higher studies of marketing or hospitality a plus
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, squat and bend as this position requires a combination of mobility throughout the shift. Able to stand for a long period of time.
- Basic daily light housekeeping duties will be a team effort. All Distillery Guardians will comply with state and county health departments guidelines for continual maintenance of a sanitary work area including customer facing areas, storage area, serving areas, and frequent courtesy checks in the lavatories to ensure a presentable clean environment.
