Requirements will vary depending on the assigned tasks. This position does require the following: repetitive lifting, push/pull, carrying, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and prolonged standing. Will involve lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.

Advanced Floor Care Operations

- Stripping and Refinishing: Remove existing finish, neutralize surfaces, and apply multiple coats of finish/sealer
- Burnishing and Buffing: Use high-speed and ultra-high speed burnishers to enhance floor shine
- Scrubbing and Recoating: Deep scrub floors and apply topcoats
- Carpet Extraction: Perform hot water extraction and encapsulation cleaning
- Spot Treatment: Identify and treat stains, scuffs, and wear areas
- Operate low-speed buffers, high-speed burnishers, auto scrubbers, carpet extractors, and wet vacuums
- Select appropriate pads, brushes, and cleaning solutions
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions
- Identify flooring types such as VCT, tile, concrete, and carpet
- Adjust methods based on condition, traffic, and environment
- Ensure proper chemical dilution and safe handling
- Six (6) months experience with floor care work.
- Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work harmoniously in a team environment with a diverse workforce.
- Work at a reasonable pace for the job duties assigned and physical ability.
- Good communication skills (e.g., able to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints)
- Able to follow basic instructions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reasoning Ability: Able to identify issues or problems, evaluate and draw valid conclusions.
- Attentive to detail for quality performance.
- If required to drive, a current drivers license and clean driving record required. May be required to drive the personal vehicle during work hours. Not all individuals will have to drive for this position.
- Tasks are regularly performed inside without exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, rain, fumes).
- Will need to use any personal protective (safety) equipment as designated properly and consistently.
- Involves exposure to hazardous materials (i.e., cleaning solutions and bio-waste hazards).
- Required inoculations and training provided by the company.
- Some tasks may be performed independently with little supervision.
