Overview
BAC Advanced Solutions is a growing Control Systems Integration company focusing on the highest level of customer support. We are currently seeking a dedicated DDC field technician with Niagara experience to support our growth in North Carolina.
This position is a Senior Level Field Technician with Niagara experience. Although this is a field level position, employees will be expected to have dedicated office space and work remotely with little supervision. This position will serve the Raleigh and Charotte Areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform DDC controls troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of systems ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of building automation systems.
- Troubleshooting existing control systems, contractor support, and operator/customer training.
- Consistent and clear communication with customers.
- Resolve customer complaints/concerns in a timely, effective and professional manner.
- Provide regular communication with customers and team members.
Experience
- 5 years’ experience performing startup and commissioning of Building Automation Systems.
- Competency in the functionality of Building Automation Systems, including software, engineering and commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices.
- BACnet protocol fundamentals.
- Niagara 4 experience is a must. Possessing a Niagara 4 certification is preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and computer networking fundamentals.
- Proficient with test instruments and calibration tools.
- Proficient with control wiring, field wiring, and relay logic
- Ability to understand control wiring diagrams.
- Pharmaceutical or Lab experience a plus
- Understanding of the HVAC system functions and applications.
- This includes the ability to understand written sequences of operation.

- Able to maintain a professional appearance and consistently communicate in a clear, professional manner, both verbally and in written communications.
- Ability to lift 50 Lbs. and climb ladders.
- Candidate must have a clean driving record (3 Years Clean, be free of any felony convictions, and be able to pass federal background checks as required to work on secure government facilities.)

- Idea candidate will live between Raleigh and Wilson, NC
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
