Role Description
There are full time and part time positions. The Early Intervention Specialist will provide developmental support and services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in natural environments, such as homes and community settings. The role will involve developing individualized intervention plans, implementing evidence-based strategies, coaching caregivers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and families to help children achieve developmental milestones and thrive in daily routines.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Early Intervention Services.
- Background in Psychology and Working With Children in developmental or caregiving environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work collaboratively with families and professionals in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet the individual needs of children and caregivers
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in early childhood development, particularly with infants and toddlers, is preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the service area
