Help babies communicate before they can talk! Become a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor and teach classes/workshops to families and early-childhood professionals across DFW. Training, curriculum, and support provided.
The Baby Signs® Program is seeking passionate early childhood educators, speech-language pathologists, early interventionists, doulas, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, ASL professionals, and other child-development specialists to join our network of Independent Certified Instructors (ICIs) in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
As a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor, you’ll receive comprehensive training and support to teach:
• Parent workshops
• Infant/toddler play classes
• Early-childhood educator and professional trainings
• Additional enrichment classes for families with children birth–5
About Baby Signs®
The Baby Signs® Program is a research-based early intervention and communication program that helps babies and toddlers communicate before they can talk. Our self-paced Instructor Certification includes ready-to-teach curricula, business tools, marketing resources, training videos, and music—everything you need to get started.
Responsibilities
• Teach parent workshops, play classes, and professional trainings using the Baby Signs® curriculum
• Prepare engaging lessons and materials; manage class logistics and communications
• Promote classes via community outreach and partnerships (centers, libraries, family resource orgs)
• Support families and caregivers in using signs at home
Applicant qualifications
• Background in early childhood, child development, SLP, OT, education, perinatal support, or related field
• Passion for supporting families with infants and toddlers
• Strong communication/presentation skills; comfortable leading groups
• Self-motivated and organized
