Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning through play-based activities.
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, nap time supervision, and health monitoring.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages socialization, emotional security, and positive behavior management.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, daily activities, and any incidents or health concerns.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to share insights on each child's development and address individual needs or special accommodations.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper classroom management and emergency procedures such as first aid when necessary.
- Support classroom organization by maintaining cleanliness, sanitization standards, and age-specific learning materials.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while providing individualized attention to children.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies.
- Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities or special needs.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
