This is a full-time hybrid role for a Research & Instruction Librarian I, specializing as a Business Generalist, at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. The role involves providing research assistance, supporting business library services, delivering library instruction sessions, and engaging in initiatives to enhance student learning and research. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty and students to develop instructional tools, guide effective library use, and contribute to advancing the college’s academic and entrepreneurial mission. Some remote work flexibility is available.
- Expertise in Library Research, Library Services, and Library Science
- Experience in Research and ability to support students and faculty in academic research projects
- Strong skills in Library Instruction to design and deliver engaging learning experiences
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in utilizing library technologies and databases
- Master's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field (or near completion)
- Knowledge of business and entrepreneurship-related resources is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment
