A Texas community bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Lender to grow and manage a CRE-focused portfolio in the Austin market. This role offers a clear path to Market President for the right individual.


Position Summary

This opportunity is ideal for a lender with an established presence in the greater Austin area who is interested in long-term growth with a community-focused institution. The role centers on originating primarily commercial real estate (CRE) loans while building and maintaining strong client relationships. The bank is looking for a proven producer with the ability to expand market share and contribute to future leadership in the market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a commercial loan portfolio with a focus on CRE lending
  • Originate new business through established relationships and networking in the Austin market
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships to support long-term portfolio growth
  • Contribute to market expansion and overall lending strategy


Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience originating commercial loans, primarily CRE
  • Strong network and market presence in the greater Austin area
  • Credit training preferred
  • Proven relationship-building and business development skills


Additional Information

  • Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000
  • Strong opportunity for advancement into a Market President role
