Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using systems like OpenTable or similar reservation platforms
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions swiftly and accurately
• Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions securely, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address concerns promptly, and promote additional sales through friendly suggestions

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, but not required. we will train the right person
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours with multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service is preferred
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Background in culinary or food industry roles that involve food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus
