Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair work on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to maintaining property operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and building systems to identify malfunctions.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and devices.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing equipment and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
- Complete carpentry and flooring repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
- Maintain accurate records in building systems and maintenance software.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or building maintenance required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues independently.
- Experience performing repairs on building systems and equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
