About the Role
As a Front of House Team Member, you'll be the welcoming face of our business — greeting guests, taking orders, and making sure everyone has a positive experience from the moment they walk in. You'll deliver friendly, attentive service and help keep the front of house running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Guest Service
- Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome
- Take orders accurately and answer questions about the menu or offerings
- Process payments (cash, card, mobile) and handle transactions correctly
- Serve food, drinks, or products promptly and courteously
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and escalate issues to a manager when needed
Front of House Operations
- Keep the dining, counter, and seating areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Set up, restock, and organize the front of house throughout each shift
- Follow food safety, health, and store procedures at all times
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with kitchen staff, fellow team members, and management to keep service running smoothly
- Communicate guest needs and any issues to the appropriate team
- Step in to support other areas during busy periods
- Participate in training and team meetings
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and basic math accurately
- Comfortable using a POS system and learning new software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand and move for extended periods
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous customer service, food service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
