Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Auto Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose Issues: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and computerized tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Perform Repairs: Execute repairs efficiently, including fixing engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and wheel alignments.
- Test Vehicles: Verify vehicle serviceability by test-driving cars and adjusting controls after repairs are complete.
- Shop Upkeep: Keep tools, equipment, and the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Vocational/trade school certification or an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology is a major plus.
- Experience: [e.g., 2-5] years of proven, hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Certifications: [e.g., ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications] preferred.
