Job Summary
As a Bagel Baker, you’ll prepare, shape, bake, and package fresh bagels and other baked goods while keeping production moving and the kitchen clean. You’ll follow recipes and food safety practices, operate kitchen equipment, and coordinate with teammates to meet daily production needs. Your food preparation and customer service skills will help deliver a welcoming experience and consistently prepared products.
Duties
- Prepare dough and other ingredients; shape, proof, boil, and bake bagels according to recipes and production plans.
- Support food production with pastry preparation, baking, cooking, and packaging; assist with cake decorating when needed.
- Use kitchen equipment and knives safely, apply basic math to measure ingredients, and follow food handling and food safety management procedures.
- Maintain a clean workspace, organize ingredients, and monitor baked goods for quality and freshness.
- Assist customers and support catering orders with clear, courteous service.

Requirements
- Food preparation, dough preparation, recipe adherence, and food safety skills; ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness.
- Kitchen, baking, pastry, cooking, or broader culinary experience is helpful, as is experience in the food industry.
- High-volume production experience and catering experience are preferred, not required.
- Cake decorating, packaging, customer service, knife skills, and operating kitchen equipment are useful skills for this role.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
