Network Engineer ( Only W2)

Title: Network Engineer (Hybrid) – Carlsbad, CA
Type: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the advanced networks that power our global gaming infrastructure. This role spans the Internet edge, core, and user connectivity layers. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure new products and features launch on a fast, scalable, and secure network foundation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize global network performance and reliability

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multi-vendor environments

• Participate in on-call rotations and respond proactively to operational alerts

• Deploy new infrastructure to global sites through remote coordination

• Improve automation, monitoring, and network visibility tools and processes

Required Qualifications

• CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent hands-on networking expertise

• Strong troubleshooting experience with Juniper and Arista platforms

• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, network security, and threat mitigation

• Expertise in switching, wireless, and next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto)

• Experience working in Data Center environments (Arista CVP, Juniper Apstra)

• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Network automation skills (NETCONF/YAML, Ansible, ZTP)

• Proficiency with VXLAN/EVPN technologies on Arista and Juniper

• Understanding of DDoS mitigation tools (Arbor APS/TMS or cloud-based)

• Scripting skills in Python or Perl for automation workflows

• Experience with F5 load balancers, including AFM
