Make a greater impact at Bonduelle Americas!
At Bonduelle Americas, we're on a mission to make plant-rich eating easy, accessible, and joyful for everyone. As a certified B Corp, we invite people to embrace a flexitarian lifestyle with an expanding portfolio of plant-rich products available in and beyond the produce aisle.
With four facilities and nearly 3,000 Associates in the US, we're part of something bigger: a global movement rooted in over 170 years of family heritage. Our parent company, Groupe Bonduelle (BON.PA), brings plant-rich foods to tables in nearly 100 countries and partners with growers who cultivate more than 173,000 acres of fresh, nutritious produce each year.
At Bonduelle-Americas, you'll find more than just a career; you'll find purpose with a team that puts people first, values sustainability, and believes in doing well by doing good. Together, we're inspiring the shift towards a plant-rich diet that nourishes both people and the plant.
Job Summary
The Sustainability & Impact Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing Bonduelle’s purpose to build a better future through plant-rich food by leading our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda in the United States.
This role connects vision to action - turning commitments into measurable impact across operations, brands, and communities. From driving decarbonization and responsible sourcing to managing B Corp recertification and ESG disclosures, the Sustainability & Impact Manager helps make sustainability a core driver of Bonduelle’s performance and long-term growth.
You’ll work across teams to design programs that reduce our footprint, strengthen our social impact, and accelerate progress toward a more resilient and inclusive food system.
What you'll do:
1. Strategy & Execution
- Champion Bonduelle’s ESG and positive impact roadmap - translating global ambitions into actionable regional plans with clear goals, metrics, and accountability.
- Partner with senior leaders to embed sustainability into business decisions, innovation pipelines, and day-to-day operations.
- Challenge conventional approaches and introduce new frameworks, technologies, and partnerships that accelerate impact and create competitive advantage.
2. Results & Reporting
- Manage ESG data systems and performance tracking to measure progress toward key targets (GHG emissions, waste reduction, water use, packaging, people).
- Lead Bonduelle America’s sustainability reporting and disclosures, supporting corporate, customer, and brand-level requests with accurate, timely, and credible information.
- Coordinate responses to customer sustainability audits, scorecards, and data requests.
- Contribute to annual sustainability reports, dashboards, and disclosures aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, and CSRD.
- Support the development of new metrics and reporting tools that enhance transparency and demonstrate impact to customers and partners.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and evolving ESG standards.
3. Cross-Functional Impact
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing and others to implement initiatives that reduce environmental impact and strengthen social outcomes.
- Support responsible sourcing programs, regenerative agriculture pilots, and packaging innovation projects to advance environmental and social goals.
4. Engage & Communicate
- Develop compelling storytelling, dashboards, and engagement tools to translate sustainability performance into business value.
- Inspire internal and external audiences—equipping leaders, customers, and partners to champion sustainability in their roles.
- Represent Bonduelle in external forums, partnerships, and customer discussions on sustainability and impact.
5. Govern & Improve
- Facilitate sustainability councils, working groups, and cross-functional committees to align teams and accelerate action.
- Monitor emerging ESG trends, risks, and regulations, advising leadership on implications and opportunities.
- Manage B Corp recertification and drive continuous improvement across all impact areas.
- Collaborate with regional and global ESG teams to align strategies and share best practices.
What you’ll bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Agriculture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5 years in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility roles within food, agriculture, manufacturing, or CPG industries.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, CSRD), carbon accounting, and life cycle assessment. Experience with B Corp (re)certification a plus.
- Strategic Agility: Ability to connect sustainability goals to business growth, risk mitigation, and brand value.
- Project Leadership: Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Analytical & Storytelling Strength: Skilled at turning data into insight and insight into action; clear, compelling communicator.
- Collaboration & Influence: Natural relationship-builder able to engage teams across functions, geographies, and seniority levels.
- Purpose & Drive: Deep passion for food system transformation and building a business that’s good for people and the planet.
