B6 Studios is a short-form television studio building episodic series for social platforms—designed for repeat viewership across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
The Role
B6 Studios is hiring a Host & Associate Producer for a new short-form series within the entertainment and culture space. The format is built around one-on-one conversations with guests from the film and television industry, combining interactive elements with dialogue-driven content. The host will serve as both on-camera talent and a core operator of the series, responsible for shaping the guest experience and contributing to overall production.
Key Responsibilities
- Host on-camera episodes (one-on-one format)
- Lead guest interaction, pacing, tone, and energy of each episode
- Conduct research on guests’ background, interests, and areas of expertise
- Assist in sourcing and booking guests within the entertainment industry (actors, writers, directors, producers, executives, etc.)
- Collaborate with the team on episode structure and creative direction
- Support production logistics and pre-shoot preparation
- Participate in monthly batch shoots (two full shoot days per month)
Ideal Candidate
- Deep, genuine knowledge of film, television, and entertainment culture; understands references, eras, and industry context instinctively
- Strong on-camera presence with natural confidence and control of tone, pacing, and audience engagement
- Highly personable, charismatic, and energetic; able to carry conversation and make guests comfortable quickly
- Quick-thinking and conversationally sharp; able to react in real time and elevate moments
- Capable of being both a compelling host and a reliable operator behind the scenes
- Access to or ability to source guests within the entertainment industry
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage production environment
Production Schedule
- ~2-3 shoot days per month (full-day shoots)
- Additional 1–2 days per month for research, prep, and coordination
Compensation
- $1,000/month (initial)
- Structured for significant increase upon securing brand sponsorship
