Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician
Job Description
B3C is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to service & repair machinery specialized bottle filling. We are seeking candidates with general knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. Candidates will need to have good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, and/or pneumatic components in manufacturing equipment.
- Plan, implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs on production equipment.
- Confer with management to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment, and to ensure the safety of personnel.
- Work with minimum supervision
- Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time.
- Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments.
- Communicate professionally with plant personnel as to the important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and estimated time to complete the repairs or projects.
- Maintains proper housekeeping expectation for work area, equipment, and tools.
Education and/or Experience
- 3 -5 years of industrial experience required
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
