Job Overview:
B360 is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to support M365 Cloud environment. This role will focus on ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of the IRS’s M365 services, with a key emphasis on data protection and privacy measures.
Duties:
- Administer and configure Microsoft Purview for data protection, privacy analysis, and compliance with IRS standards.
- Lead security assessments and audits for M365 applications, including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Exchange.
- Implement and manage security protocols for Windows Server, SQL clusters, and Power Platform environments.
- Develop and maintain security strategies for SharePoint On-Premises and Online environments.
- Apply data connectors and establish enterprise data governance policies.
- Collaborate with the IRS team to ensure that all security frameworks (e.g., Defender, Copilot, Purview) are integrated effectively.
- Maintain security best practices in all stages of system deployment and configuration.
- Provide regular security assessments, vulnerability reports, and improvement plans.
Requirements:
- Experience: 6–10 years in IT security, including at least 5 years of direct experience with M365 and cloud-based security.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or certifications like CISSP, Security preferred).
- Skills:
- Expertise in Purview for data protection, compliance, and DLP.
- Advanced skills in Azure AD, identity management, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise, BYOK, SFTP, and IP Restrictions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and address security incidents across the M365 environment.
- In-depth knowledge of security architecture, cyber defenses, and threat mitigation.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $53.00 - $72.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
