Overview
BizSolutions 360, Inc. (B360™) is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to provide Construction Management Support Services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The position supports the North Regional Area Office by performing field inspections, reviewing contractor submittals, and assisting with technical and quality assurance documentation for active construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contractor quality control procedures, submittals, and daily reports for compliance with USACE and federal standards.
- Conduct field inspections and verify work in progress meets project specifications and safety requirements.
- Analyze project deficiencies, RFIs, and requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), providing written recommendations to the COR.
- Attend weekly project meetings and provide technical input on project performance and constructability.
- Support the preparation of monthly progress reports and payment documentation (ENG Form 93).
- Assist with data collection, inspections, and environmental compliance tracking as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in engineering, physical or biological science, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience as an Engineering Technician or Construction Inspector.
- Working knowledge of field/environmental surveys, data collection, hazardous material management, and site inspections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with USACE systems (e.g., RMS, Procore, or similar).
- Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Must be able to travel within Redstone Arsenal; valid driver’s license required.
